Observing the Matter

"Observing the Matter" is an immersive exhibition that explores the mind-body problem and questions perceptions of reality across digital, physical, and virtual realms. Through eight paintings based on 3D models, a 360-degree virtual reality experience, and physical elements extracted from the artworks, the exhibition blurs the lines between the physical and the digital, inviting viewers to question the multi-dimensional fabric of reality in an increasingly virtual world.

Example of VR Recreation of Gallery Show

The gallery room would pull in elements from the paintings (floor pattern, chairs) and be recreated in VR. When the viewer puts on the headset they begin in the gallery. Focusing on one of the paintings takes the viewer inside that room and they can then navigate through a tour of the subsequient paintings.
